I already knew this place, lately I have been frequenting it very often for the continuous and constant updating and study of the dishes and wines.Impressive wine list, I always prefer bottles to glasses but even when I have already taken the latter, the wine has always been served with excellent oxygenation and with a taste as if the bottle had just been uncorked, a sign of obsessive care on the part of the staff.Don't read the menu, but have a chat with the innkeeper Vinz, who is very knowledgeable and affable. The dishes are all fresh and very original, last time I ate courgette spaghetti in chickpea and cod cream. Wonderful.The location, both internal and external, is suitable for all types of customers, from children to slightly more mature people like me.I highly recommend it

Original little place in the city centre.The owner, a very attentive and helpful person, makes you feel immediately at ease and offers never banal dishes with excellent wine pairings. The quality/price ratio is also very good.

In a small square behind the Town Hall there is this welcoming, intimate place, furnished with care, taste and that pinch of originality that knows how to combine, without appearing out of place, different elements such as those we might find rummaging in an old trunk or in our grandmother's cellar. For years I have chosen to carve out a few hours at the Bottiglieria San Giovanni, knowing that I am leaving the frenzy and noise of the city outside the door to immerse myself in the warm sounds of jazz and the velvety flavor of an excellent full-bodied red wine, which Vincenzo, the highly trained owner, always knows how to recommend and talk about like a true wine lover knows how. The choice of wines is wide, refined, selected, always accompanied by high quality culinary offerings; a pair of glasses is always served together with some generous tasting, which to define as simply appetizers is not true, but you can decide to stay for a complete lunch or dinner, choosing from a menu that will satisfy any palate. Price more than suitable for the offer, absolutely in line with similar places, but clearly higher than the average of the city offers. Highly recommended.
